MEET THE EDITOR
LUCID B.A.Y Magazine was created as a means to stay connected to two passions of mine, wellness, and writing. I became interested in the health and wellness field during my late adolescent years, while writing has always been a means of coping and self-discovery. Combine the two, and thus LUCID was born. But before we get into the magazine, I'd like to give a little background into me, Meagan.
I finished college with a degree in Healthcare Management. I am an Ayurveda Specialist and a Registered Yoga Teacher specializing in Hatha, Restorative, and Yin yoga. And I love fitness.
As far as writing and editing are concerned, I became a published Author in 2018 and have been writing, editing, and proofreading ever since. I've worked on simple tasks such as proofreading short blogs and social media posts to more complex projects such as writing and co-editing books, including my own. I use my skills to generate the best work possible, both in wellness and writing, and I am driven by my desire to be set apart, authentic, and true to my cause and vision.
Combining those two things that I love, wellness and writing is how LUCID came to life. Here at LUCID B.A.Y Magazine, my mission is community. I love community and outreach so having a space that creates room for everyone is a dream. LUCID B.A.Y Magazine is here to provide a valuable and resourceful wellness space that replaces judgment with acceptance. The goal is to create room and opportunity for others to freely and unapologetically take up space by showcasing themselves in a creative and meaningful way. My greatest ambition is to promote authenticity by sharing exciting and unique stories of people within the wellness community and growing a community built on genuine support.
So now that you're a bit more acquainted with me, take some time to explore the magazine. Then, when you've finished and have completely fallen in love with LUCID, reach out if you would like to learn how to be featured, have your story told, business promoted, or if you'd like to just say hi. I would love to get to know you too.
